GOLDEN RULES FOR WRITING A COMPOSITION

I have never thought about golden rules of writing a composition.
Everything that I need is inspiration.
But the rules are  created.
Here they are:

  • Jot down all the points you might make (It is a good idea.
  • Take a break (I am afraid I don't agree with this point!!!If I take a break, I will finish my composition in the evening
  • Analyse your notes, deciding which points to emphasise and which to omit (Without a doubt It is a good step in writing a composition
  • Show your first draft to someone else and get feedback from them (I would like to write a composition in full, and after I can show it. )
  •  Edit your first draft, noting any changes you want to make (It is a unnecessary work. All changes and corrections we can make in the first draft.
  • Proof-read the first draft: eliminate errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation (It is the most important point. I like reread my compositions three times.
  • Do any necessary researche
  • Proof-read your final version, eliminating any mistakes you spot
  • Discuss what you're going to write with someone else (Every person has it's own thoughts and inner world. I suppose that we shoud write a composition ourselves )
  • Write a first draft, perhaps in pencil
  •  Look carefully at the instructions (It is a composition! It is not an official letter or a report. )
  • Write a plan, rearranging the points in the order you intend to make them
  • Use a dictionary to look up suitable words and expressions and write them down (We should use a dictionary from start to finish of it's writing )
  •  Think about what you're going to write.
  • Get feedback from other students on your final version (they are 'your readers')
  • Look again at the instructions
  • Have a rest Write your final version
 I don't like these rules.
I have my own!!!
Here they are:
  • A composition should have a structure: an introduction, a main body, a conclusion.
  • It should be interesting and grammatically correct.
  • We should't write a composition without inspiration.
  • It is necessary to use a lot of expressions, proverbs, new words. We should show our knowledge of grammar.

First job.....

                        First Job.

I managed to get a job. I work as a translator 4 hours a day. I translate different information (sites, constitutions of different companies, information about foreign organisations and companies).
Is it difficult to combine work with study?
- Without a doubt I can say that it is very difficult. Almost all the time I pass near my computer.
What are the advantages of this job?
- There are a lot of advantages. I can name some:
  • First of all I can practise my written English. My vocabulary increases every day.
  • Everybody knows that it is not easy to become a translator or an interpreter. On graduation from institute, young interpreter should have operational experience. Employers prefer to fee experienced staff. So, my previous experience has been starting.
  • One of the most important things is an experience of communication.
All in all It is very difficult to get on in life. We shouldn't stay put. It is necessary to catch at any chance and a fortune will smile upon you!!!
